Ski Racing Class

Intermediate and Advanced skiiers from 6 years old or blue levels attained.

Rochers-de-Naye 

 

13,20,27 January/3, 10 February/3,10,17 March 201

Ski Racing Class "Compétition 1" - Saturdays

Class A2 C: Train through the gates in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. This class is designed for young speedsters of all levels who wish to try, or train for the racing season.  Expect gates and much more !

Class Objectives:

 

Safety:

  • Information on racing and race courses.

 

Fun:

  • Training and/or friendly competitions in the gates

 

Technical performance (Each at his/her pace and level): 

  • "Racing" parallel turns

  • Racing short turns 

  • Multiple carving turns

  • Multiple short turn 

  • Racing jumps

Suggested material:

 

  • Usual skiing gear

  • Helmet mandatory

The participants will be supervised at the following races:

 

- MGC Concours populaire, Rochers-de-Naye, date TBD

- Classique Philippe Roux, Verbier, date TBD

-Grand prix Migros, Nendaz, date TBD

 

Registration to other races will be optional.

The Montreux Riviera Swiss Ski School may cancel lessons up to 24h in advance in case of weather hasards or lack of participants. Each class will run with a minimum of 4 participants (Traveling camps excepted). All participants will be notified personally.
